Ginter Hall South is a locally owned and operated family business with a history that begins in Richmond’s Ginter Park neighborhood in 1970.

That year we opened our first location, Ginter Hall North, which also happened to be Richmond’s first home for senior living with residential assistance.

Families throughout the Richmond area soon learned about the programs Ginter Hall offered it’s communities and, by 1976, increased demand allowed our expansion into a second Richmond area community: Ginter Hall South.

Since opening our doors the Ginter Hall South mission has been simple: to serve our senior resident’s needs to the best of our ability.

We aimed to create a warm, compassionate environment that would give our seniors and their loved ones the support they need to better enjoy their time together, as well as the comfort of knowing 24-hours a day, seven days a week, assistance was available should any unexpected needs arise.

For over 40 years we’ve upheld that mission as a locally owned, family business and we are proud to continue serving the Richmond community, its seniors, our residents at Ginter Hall South and their loved ones to this day.
